BrakisApps ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications.

Information We Collect

Our apps are designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary for app functionality:

• Data you provide: Information you voluntarily enter into our apps, such as recipes, notes, tasks, or settings preferences. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your private iCloud account.
• Camera and photo access: Some apps (such as RecipeCast) request access to your camera or photo library to scan and extract text using on-device OCR via Apple Vision. Photos and images are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal data for advertising purposes.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
• We do not collect location data, contacts, or device identifiers.

Data Storage and Security

Your app data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account managed by Apple, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use Apple's built-in frameworks (such as CloudKit and SwiftData). These services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social media SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

In-App Purchases

RecipeCast offers optional Pro subscriptions. Payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

Subscription Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Settings. Prices: Monthly $2.99/month, Yearly $19.99/year. A one-time lifetime purchase of $39.99 is also available.

CloudKit Family Sharing

When you share a recipe with family members, the recipe data is transferred via Apple's CloudKit sharing infrastructure. Shared data is stored in Apple's iCloud servers and accessible only to the participants you invite. We cannot access shared data.

Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account, you have full control over it. You can delete your data at any time by deleting content within the app or by uninstalling the app.

GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. Since all data is stored locally or in your personal iCloud account, you can exercise these rights directly within the app or by contacting us.

CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at support@BrakisApps.com to exercise your rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
