Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, a copy is also stored in your private iCloud account. We do not store your data on our servers.

Does RecipeCast upload my photos?

No. All text extraction (OCR) runs entirely on your device using Apple Vision. Photos you scan are never uploaded to any server. We have no access to your camera or photo library content.

How does family sharing work in RecipeCast?

RecipeCast uses your personal iCloud account to share recipe collections with family members via native CloudKit. No BrakisApps server is involved — sharing happens directly through Apple's infrastructure using your own account.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual items within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all local data. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage on your device.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Which devices are supported?

Our apps are designed for iPhone and require iOS 17.0 or later.

How do I report a bug?

Email us at support@BrakisApps.com with a description of the issue, the app name, your iOS version, and your device model. Screenshots are always helpful.
